For the past 7 years, I have been diligently working, developing, testing and perfecting the process of casting my work in cotton fiber. The resultant works embody a crossroads - and remarkably unique place, where tradition speaks with a contemporary voice.
In truth, this has been a journey of discovery - with both pitfalls, as well as the excitement of developing reliable methodologies and the joy of completing successful and beautifully expressive castings in an elegant new medium.
Driven by the ongoing desire to learn & innovate … And standing at a crossroads between what has been done & what is possible … I continue to strive to explore the capacity and voice of my cast cotton - a medium that I now deeply love.
