It is with great happiness that I can now relate to you that my sculpture Northern Torsion, Pike and Bull has been juried into the National Sculpture Society 86th Annual Awards Exhibition and will be on display this year (Aug. 10th - Oct. 27th, 2019). at the Brookgreen Gardens, Pawleys Island, South Carolina.
Sculpted last summer and cast over the past winter - Northern Torsion, Pike and Bull draws upon events that occurred while canoeing through the broad swamplands of Western Pennsylvania, many years ago as a teenager.
460 works were submitted this past spring, and 55 were selected by jury for the NSS exhibition.

What an incredible pleasure it is to have been granted the another chance to share my artistic vision through sculptural relief at Brookgreen!
This will be the fourth consecutive year that one of my pieces has been chosen to be part of this remarkable show.
It truly is an honor to be returning to the Brookgreen Gardens once again for the NSS National Awards Exhibition!
My sincerest thanks to each of the judges, to everyone at NSS and to the wonderful people at Brookgreen who make this show possible each year!

National Sculpture Society 86th Annual Awards Exhibition
"The annual juried exhibition of the National Sculpture Society, the oldest professional organization of sculptors in America, presents the work of masters alongside rising stars in American sculpture. Brookgreen Gardens is the only venue for this exhibit. Fifteen awards are presented by the Society along with the popular People’s Choice Award, determined by votes of visitors to Brookgreen Gardens. This exhibit is on display in both the Jenniwein and Noble Galleries in the Rainey Sculpture Pavilion and is included with garden admission"
