It is with great honor and happiness that I would like to announce that my sculpture "Mayflies and Trout Rise, Okutama River" has been juried into the National Sculpture Society 83rd Annual Awards Exhibition. 981 works were submitted for review and the works of 45 artists were selected to be displayed at the Brookgreen Gardens, in Georgetown, South Carolina. - JDW

National Sculpture Society 83rd Annual Awards Exhibition
The annual juried exhibition of the National Sculpture Society, the oldest professional organization of sculptors in America, presents the work of masters alongside rising stars in American sculpture. Fourteen awards are presented by the Society along with the popular People’s Choice Award, determined by the votes of visitors to Brookgreen Gardens
"Brookgreen Gardens is pleased to offer the ever popular National Sculpture Society Annual Awards Exhibition for its exclusive showing in the Sculpture Pavilion indoor galleries. The collection of sculptures features the work of 45 talented sculptors from across the United States.
There will be a closing celebration and reception for the 83rd Annual Exhibition on October 29 for Brookgreen members and the sculptors in the exhibition. The National Sculpture Society Awards will be presented at that time. Also, the Brookgreen Gardens’ People’s Choice Award winner will be announced along with the winner of an award given by Fine Arts Connoisseur magazine."
