NEWS - July 2020 - #1
It is with genuine happiness that I can now relate to you that my relief sculpture, Cormorant and Moon Jellyfish, Yokojikkengawa, has been juried into the National Sculpture Society 87th Annual Awards Exhibition and will be on display from Aug. 8th - Oct. 26th, 2020, at the Brookgreen Gardens, Pawleys Island, SC.
334 works were submitted this past spring, and 27 were selected by jury for the NSS Annual Exhibition. The jury members were - John Coleman, FNSS, Bruce Gagnier, Sculptor and sculpture instructor at The New York Studio School and Peter Trippi, Editor-in-Chief at Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine.
What an incredible honor it is to have been granted another chance to return to the Brookgreen Gardens once again this year to share my artistic vision for and through sculptural relief!
This will be the fifth consecutive year that one of my pieces has been chosen to be part of this remarkable show! I will be sharing the complete image of this work, as well as my inspiration for it, in the coming weeks.
